about

Floating Whispers is a compilation of ‘soft’ music written for film scores and installations. It was initially released on LP, CD and cassette in 1987. Ambiance on “At the Bath” was recorded amongst the Redwoods in Valley of the Moon, California. On “Night Currents”, Michael’s music is woven into ambiance recorded next to a creek near Big Tujunga Canyon outside of Los Angeles.
Of the music Michael wrote, “Somewhere in the moment between night and day, darkness and light, I hear the floating whispers. Singing softly, they descend in waves, awakening feelings and veiled memories of times and places yet to be revealed.”
