about

The music on this album was released in 1983 on a cassette titled "Light Play" on the Continuum Montage label. A year later it was released on CD and LP on the Sonic Atmospheres label as "M'ocean". All of the music except "Sirens" and "Walking Song" was originally written for live performances that took place between 1978 and 1982. The Serge synthesizer was used extensively in the compositions. "Sirens" was written and performed on an Oberheim OB8 synthesizer, the first digitally controlled analogue synthesizer that Michael owned. "Walking Song" is a short piece by Igor Stravinsky.
